TaxGal is meant to get better over time. Because public budgets are complex, reader corrections and official source suggestions are especially helpful.

What To Send
- The page or calculator category that may need correction.
- A link to the official source, budget table, audit, public accounts document, or government report.
- The fiscal year, publication date, and a short explanation of what should change.
- For accessibility issues, describe the device, browser, and part of the page that caused trouble.
How Corrections Are Reviewed
- The suggestion is checked against the current page, calculator category, and source notes.
- Official public sources are preferred over commentary, summaries, or secondary sources.
- If the correction improves the model, wording, source quality, or accessibility, the page may be updated.
Government Officials And Policy Staff
Budget, finance, audit, program, and policy officials are invited to contact hi@taxgal.org if they can help update the calculator with more accurate percentages, current fiscal-year data, or clearer category mappings.
